Will my deposits be FDIC insured?
Yes, deposits are FDIC insured up to $250,000 through The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC.
What happens if my partner and I break up?
If you are your partner break up you can disconnect your account from their account under, Partner Settings, in the app.

Accounts & Banking

What is the Split Account?
The Split Account is a new way for couples to split and share expenses.

We wanted to build a product that helps bridge the gap between what you get out of a product like Venmo and a more traditional joint account.

If you find yourselves constantly Venmoing back and forth, and it's something you want to avoid, the Split Account is for you.
Can I change my ratio?
Yes, the ratio you set when signing up is not permanent.

You and your partner can decide to change the default ratio at any time, however, both accounts must agree to the proposed change.
Can I adjust the ratio of a specific transaction?
Yes, after a transaction has been made you will have the ability to adjust the ratio of that specific transaction or pay for the whole thing.

Adjustments need to be approved by both partners.
How do I transfer money in and out of my account?
We support ACH transfers from all major banking providers through Plaid.

Debit Cards

What cards will I receive when I sign up?
You and your partner will both receive custom Ivella Mastercard® Debit Cards after signing up. Cards are provided by The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC.
Are there any monthly account fees?
We do not charge any monthly account fees or enforce minimum balances.
What happens if I lose my card or need a new card?
If you lost your card or need a new card you can submit a new card request through the ‘Cards & Security’ tab in your settings.

There will be a $5 Card Replacement Fee assessed to your account when your new card is issued, and your new card should arrive in 7-10 business days.
Do you cover against fraudulent purchases?
Yes, we do offer protection against fraudulent purchases. For full details, please refer to the Deposit Account Agreement linked on the settings page of the Ivella app.
