Ivella is building the best banking products for couples. We're on a mission to improve the way that couples approach finances, and we’re starting with a new way for couples to split expenses called the Split Account. We're a small team backed by Y Combinator and 26 other amazing investors.

What We’re Looking For

We are building our first Android App and we are looking for a talented Android Engineer that will lead , architect, and build world-class product experiences. We’re a small, but ambitious team with lofty goals to reshape how couples approach and think about their finances. We’re looking for an individual who isn’t intimidated by ambiguity, loves solving hard technical problems, and wants to take ownership in multiple projects.

What You’ll Do

⚡️ Design, build, and launch Ivella’s first Android app

⚡️ Build and maintain native Android components and code 

⚡️ Develop animations and “magical” interactions 

⚡️ Lead product & feature implementation from start to finish

⚡️ Help shape product strategy and vision

You Have

⚡ 4+ years of experience working on production-level native Android development

⚡ Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development

⚡ Understanding of best mobile design patterns and practices

⚡ Passion for beautiful UI and meticulous attention to detail

⚡️ A strong technical background and grasp of CS fundamentals

⚡️ The desire to learn new frameworks, platforms, and languages

⚡ An ability to think about every part of the user experience

⚡ Experience working with Jetpack Compose

⚡ Experience working with GraphQL
